I’m Kody, a wedding photographer and storyteller.
But I didn’t start with a camera.
I actually picked one up for the first time in university. Before that, photography wasn’t even on my radar. But once I started, something clicked fast. I realized you can freeze a moment in time and bring it back forever. That idea stuck with me.
Not perfect moments. Real ones. The kind you don’t notice until they’re already gone.
That’s what pulled me in.
Over time, I started focusing on weddings because they’re full of those moments — real emotion, real energy, nothing staged.
Most couples I work with tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera. Instead of fighting that, I work with it. I keep things simple, guide you when needed, and let the real moments happen naturally.
No stiff posing. No overthinking. No acting like someone you’re not.
I personally shoot every wedding I take on. From start to finish, it’s me behind the camera. That matters to me, because trust and consistency change everything on a wedding day.
Alongside weddings, I also work in content creation for brands like Samsung, Sony, and Hyundai. That side of my work pushes me to stay creative, think differently, and keep evolving my style — but weddings are where I slow down and focus on real connection.
Behind the scenes, I have a small team that helps with planning, timelines, and making sure your day runs smoothly. You won’t feel lost or stressed; I make sure everything is prepared before I even show up.

01 - How would you describe your photography style?
Capturing all the best moments during a wedding is important, but making sure you have you enjoy your day should not be neglected. Because of this, I have curated a set of techniques that allow me to shoot with a photojournalistic style. Combining this with my signature rustic, earthy tones allows you to relax and for me to showcase your best selves for you to look back on 20 years from now.
Of course! Our photojournalistic style combines a repertoire of fun, interactive prompts with capturing candid moments. This allows us to direct you with ease and bring out those beautiful, natural moments. All you have to do is focus on being in love with each other!
02 - We’ve never taken professional photos in front of a camera. Can you help with posing?
03 - How many photos do you deliver?
The amount of photos you receive will vary since every wedding day is different, as well as the number of hours that I am hired for. A good estimate is about 50-100 images per hour. However, I do not cap the number of photos that you receive. I personally cull through every image that I have taken, and I will deliver ALL of the images that I feel are the best.
04 - When will I receive my photos?
I do not outsource my editing, so you can be sure that every photo will follow my high quality, signature style. Because of this, it will take about 4-6 weeks until your photos are ready.
05 - How will I receive my photos?
Photo galleries will be delivered in a digital gallery, personalized to you. You will also be given a code that will allow you to download high-resolution, non-watermarked images, perfect for social media sharing or home prints.
06 - Do you offer videography services?
We offer highlight film-based videography services, as well as our premium hybrid coverage package. This means that we capture both photo and video to create a highlight film alongside our full photo gallery.
07 - What makes a hybrid package special?
A hybrid coverage package means that all the members present are part of my team. We have worked together countless times, allowing us to communicate easily with each other without getting in each other’s way. This also means that our editing style for our photos and videos will be the same. Furthermore, hiring two separate teams will start to bring up the costs, while a hybrid package covers both the photo and video end at a discounted price.
08 - Why choose your hybrid coverage package over a separate videography team?
Many couples never really end up wanting to rewatch that 15+ min highlight film, or don’t care if their whole ceremony is recorded. Our hybrid package focuses on photos as a priority, and a highlight film as an addition to showcase the emotions that cannot be captured with still images. However, many couples may want a full recap of their whole day on film. If that is the case, we have a few videography partners that we’ve worked with with frequently and trust that we can recommend.
