Quiet presence. Genuine connection. Photographs that feel like memory.
Hey, I'm Kody! I photograph weddings, and I'm honestly a little obsessed with it.
Funny thing is, I didn't grow up doing this. I didn't even pick up a camera until university, kind of on a whim. But the second I did, I was hooked. There's something wild about freezing a moment and getting to keep it forever. That got me.
I'm not big on the stiff, posed stuff. I'm after the real moments. The little glances, the random bursts of laughter, the things you don't even notice until they're already gone. Weddings are packed with those, so that's what I ended up shooting.
Almost every couple tells me they're awkward in front of a camera. Totally normal, and totally fine. I'd rather work with that than fight it. I'll keep things chill, give you a nudge when you need one, and mostly just let you two be you. No stiff poses, no overthinking, no pretending to be someone you're not.
I've also got a small team behind me. A few people I genuinely trust and love working alongside. Having them there means we cover so much more of your day. More angles, more little moments, and someone always ready when something happens across the room while I'm caught up somewhere else.
When I'm not doing weddings, I shoot content for brands like Samsung, Sony, and Hyundai. It keeps me creative and on my toes. But weddings are my favorite, hands down. That's where I get to slow down and just focus on you two.
At the end of the day, I'm not trying to make you look like someone you're not. I just want to show you what your day actually felt like.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, we'll get along great.
View the WorkI fell in love with photography and film for one reason: they hold onto a moment and hand it back exactly as it happened. A memory fades with every retelling. A photograph never does. Press play, and you're right back there.
I blend into your day so you forget I'm there. No direction, no forced poses. Just two people in love doing what they do, with me and a camera nearby.
A perfectly lit photo with no feeling is just decoration. I chase the tear, the laugh, the quiet glance between you, the imperfect moments that are perfectly yours.
Each wedding is a complete narrative. I edit and sequence your gallery so that it reads like the day actually unfolded, not as a collection of individual images but as a whole story you can return to for a lifetime.
"Kody was attentive, helpful, and personalized through our time working with him. They were flexible and patient through the wedding, stealthily capturing all our special moments. The full set of photos are stunning — capturing the fun, hilarious, sentimental, and loving memories from so many perspectives."

Before your day, we'll have talked through your timeline, your must-haves, and the moments that matter most to you. By the time your wedding arrives, you'll know exactly what to expect, and so will I.
On the day itself, I handle the pressure so you don't have to. If something runs late, I adapt. If the light changes, I work with it. My job is to stay two steps ahead so that you can be fully, completely present in your own wedding.
I gently guide you toward what I think will work best, without ever intruding on your day. That might mean checking in on sunset photo timing hours before we're actually supposed to shoot them, or quietly adapting the plan if the schedule starts to run late, so you never have to think about it.
What you'll feel: like you have a calm, trusted friend nearby, not a vendor working through a checklist.
I'm Kody, a storyteller. I don't take photos, I create memories. As an artist, I focus heavily on capturing moments that showcase who you really are.
Years of shooting for brands like Samsung and Sony made the technical side second nature, but that part is easy, anyone can do it. What sets me apart is knowing how to interact with you and make you comfortable in front of a camera.
At an early age I knew that I wanted to be in a creative field. While attending college for Television and Film, it was there that my experience filming live events led me to filming weddings and my passion for visual storytelling grew!
When I'm not filming weddings I love spending time with my wife and our dog, traveling all over the world, and experiencing different foods and cultures!
I'd love to hear about your day. Tell me everything: the venue, the vibe, the people, the chaos. I'm here for all of it.
