Jon and Constance brought us all the way to Okinawa for this one. The island gave us turquoise water and salt in the air, and a day that ran from a slow morning at the resort to a ceremony by the sea. Some weddings you just feel lucky to be at. This was one.
The morning started slow at the ANA InterContinental, light coming into the rooms while Jon and Constance got ready in their own separate corners.

Then the fun part. Jon had to earn his way through the door games before he got to her, and after that a tea ceremony with family close in. Plenty of laughing, a bit of chaos.

For the ceremony we drove out to a terrace above the water, about thirty minutes from the resort, where they said their vows with the ocean behind them.

Back at the resort, dinner on the lawn, speeches, a first dance, and an afterparty that went late.

We also ran a few rolls of film through the day. Here is the set.

Jon and Constance, thank you for flying us across the world for this one. Okinawa is going to be tough to beat.
