I'm a wedding photographer, not a data company. This page explains what gets collected when you visit this site or send me an inquiry, and what happens to it. Last updated July 2026.
What you send me
When you fill out the inquiry form, you're sharing your names, email address, wedding date, venue, the coverage you're after, and whatever you write in the message. I use that to reply to you and to talk about photographing your day. That's it. I don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone.
The form runs on a service called Web3Forms, which passes your message along to my inbox. They hold a copy for 30 days and then it's gone. Your email lives on in my inbox and in my own booking records, because that's how I keep track of who I'm talking to.
What the site collects on its own
Like most websites, this one uses a couple of tools that tell me how people find and use it:
Google Analytics shows me which pages get read, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device they're on. It's aggregate, so I see "forty people read the timeline guide this week," not who those people are.
The Meta pixel tells Facebook and Instagram that someone visited, which is how I know whether my ads are reaching couples who are actually planning a wedding. If you've seen an ad of mine after visiting, that's why.
Cloudflare serves this site and keeps basic, anonymous stats about page speed and traffic. No cookies involved there.
The first two use cookies. If you'd rather not be tracked, every browser lets you block them, and you can browse this site perfectly well with them off.
Your photos
If we work together, your gallery is delivered through Pic-Time, and access is yours to control. How I may use your photos afterwards, in my portfolio or elsewhere, is set out in your booking contract, and anything different is something we agree on separately.
What you can ask me for
You can ask what I have on file about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email me and I'll sort it out. If you've booked, I do keep contract and payment records, since Canadian tax rules require it.
