We'd already postponed this one once. Toronto sunrises are a gamble, and the forecast kept teasing us then pulling the light away at the last second. So when the alarms went off in the dark and we all decided to just go for it, nobody really knew what we were about to get.

And then it showed up. A little late, sure, but the sky went soft and pink over the water and the whole beach lit gold against those cliffs. Zach and Heather barely needed a nudge, just wandering the shoreline and holding onto each other while the Bluffs did their thing behind them. Worth every early alarm and every rescheduled plan. This is the one we'd been waiting for.
Zach and Heather, thank you for setting that alarm twice. So glad we chased this one down together.
